National Renewable Energy Internship Programme 2024-2025

Facilities for internships will be made available to engineering, science, management, and other students so they can gain an understanding of the Ministry’s various activities in the field of renewable energy by working as interns in the Ministry and organizations under its aegis. The senior level officers of the Ministry and its institutions will be paired with the chosen interns. Twenty students or individuals will receive internships each year. Ideally, the internship will last between two and six months. Only physical internships will receive a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month.

Details of Renewable Energy Internship

Internship Period:- Depending on MNRE requirements, internships are offered Twice a year.

Eligibility:- (A) At a recognized university or institution in India or overseas, the applicant must be pursuing graduate or postgraduate degrees in engineering, management, law, science, or renewable energy.
(B) The individuals employed by national, international, and nongovernmental organizations in the field of RE.

Number of Internship:- There will be no more than 20 Number offered each year. The internship cannot be repeated or extended by any intern.

Duration:- Will Be From 2 to 6 Months to be Counted from the Day of Start of Internship

Declaration Secrecy:- Before reporting for their internship, interns must provide a declaration of confidentiality to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Logistic Support:- For a physical internship, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy will supply them with internet access and other requirements as determined by the relevant Heads. It will be necessary for interns to bring their own laptops. Additionally, they are responsible for arranging their own boarding and lodging.

Placement:- The Ministry or affiliated/subordinate organizations will not be committed to placing interns.

Submission of Paper:- At the conclusion of their internship, the interns must turn in a report or paper to the division head on the assigned topic. If necessary, the HRD division may hold a seminar or presentation in front of the division heads.

Certificate of Internship:- After completing their internship satisfactorily and having their report or paper reviewed by the relevant party, interns will receive certificates.
