About The Program

The goal of the Bharti Airtel Foundation is to help deserving students from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, particularly girls, become future technology leaders. Students enrolled in technology-based engineering undergraduate (UG) courses and 5-year integrated programs in the top 50 NIRF Engineering institutes, including IITs, have been eligible for a merit-based scholarship program designed to accomplish this objective. The recipients of the scholarship will be referred to as Bharti Scholars.

It is hoped that the fully funded scholarship will remove the financial obstacles that prevent deserving students from obtaining a high-quality education. Over the course of the course, it covers all annual fees, including costs for meals and lodging. In the first year, each Bharti Scholar will also receive a laptop.

Bharti Airtel Scholarship Eligibility

Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program in 2024 and 2025:

• confirmed enrollment in the first year of the UG/5 year integrated courses in the top 50 NIRF Engineering universities and institutes in the fields of electronics and communication, telecom, information technology, computer science, data science, aerospace, and emerging technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, machine learning, and robotics). based on the most recent available list).
• The applicant must be a citizen and resident of India.
• The family’s annual income from all sources cannot exceed INR 8.5 lakh.
• The Bharti Airtel Foundation does not support scholarships or grants for the same purposes.

Bharti Airtel Scholarship Benefits

(1) Scholarships cover the full cost of all U.G. courses, including integrated courses, for up to five years (subject to meeting the renewal requirements).

(2) All selected scholars who apply for the scholarship will receive reimbursement for their room and board costs.

(3) All Bharti Scholars will receive a laptop, and it will be the student’s responsibility to ensure its safety and security.

(4) Support for students staying in PG or outside of a hostel will be provided in accordance with the institute’s charges for hostel and mess.

(5) The Bharti Scholars will pledge to voluntarily provide financial assistance to at least one student at any level of school or college at any time, to the extent that they are able to do so. No replacements will be provided.)

Bharti Airtel Scholarship Documents

(1) Proof of identity (Aadhaar card)

(2) Current year admission proof (admission letter, fee letter from the institution)

(3) JEE scorecard or university entrance exam scorecard (wherever applicable)

(4) Affidavit confirming income if parents are self-employed

(5) Marksheet of class 12th

(6) Income certificate/copy of income tax returns of parents

(7) Bank account details (account number, IFSC, branch address) and bank statement of the applicant and parent

(8) Recent passport-sized photograph

(9) Bank account details of the institution (account name, account number, IFSC, branch address)

(10) Documents related to extracurricular activities, achievements, part-time jobs, projects, innovations, etc.

(11) Expense receipts/rent agreement (if staying in PG/rented accommodation), if applicable

(12) Statement of purpose (SOP) from the applicant.
