About The Program
The Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a joint CSR initiative of the companies that make up the Kotak Mahindra Group and the Kotak Education Foundation with the goal of assisting economically disadvantaged individuals with their education and livelihood. This scholarship aims to support deserving female students from low-income families so that they can continue their education beyond the 12th grade in professional education.
Under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship from 2024 to 2025, female students who have completed their 12th grade and are interested in pursuing professional degrees such as engineering, MBBS, BDS, Integrated LLB (5 years), B. Pharmacy, or B.Sc. Nursing, integrated BS-MS-BS-Research at ISER or IISC (Bangalore), or other professional courses (such as design, architecture, or similar fields). They will receive a scholarship of INR 1.5 lakh* per year from reputable institutions that are accredited by the NAAC/NIRF to cover their educational costs until they receive their degree.
*Disclaimer: There are restrictions. The Kotak Education Foundation will choose which scholarships to award and how much each one will be based on whether or not applicants meet the eligibility requirements.
Kotak Kanya Scholarship Eligibility
- Open to good girl students from all over India.
- Candidates must have passed the Class 12 board exams with a score of at least 75% or a CGPA equivalent.
- The applicant’s family’s annual income cannot exceed INR 6,000,000.
- Distinguished female students who have been accepted into the first year of a graduate program in the academic year 2024–25 at institutions that are well-known and accredited by organizations like NIRF/NAAC for professional degrees such as engineering, MBBS, BDS, Integrated LLB (5 Years), and B.Sc. B. pharmacy, nursing, integrated BS-MS/BS-Research at ISER, IISC (Bangalore), or other professional courses (such as design, architecture, and so forth).
- The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024–25 is not open to the children of employees of Buddy4Study, the Kotak Education Foundation, or the Kotak Mahindra Group.
Kotak Kanya Scholarship Benefits
(1) Each selected scholar will receive a scholarship of INR 1.5 lakh* per year until she completes her professional graduation program or degree. (2) The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024–25 scholarship money should be used to pay for things like laptops, books, stationery, internet, transportation, tuition, and hostel fees. *Disclaimer:- There are restrictions.
