To join the team, Amazon India is looking for committed, industrious, analytical individuals with a track record of success and results-driven thinking. Candidates will be in charge of a variety of tasks pertaining to the analysis and mitigation of online e-commerce risk. The best candidates will have prior expertise with trust and safety, have worked in the e-commerce payments industry, and have thrived in a customer-focused environment. Every applicant will possess analytical skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced team setting.

These investigators work under the manager’s extremely minimal supervision and rely on their superb judgment to plan and achieve their goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities on an individual basis are utilized to verify clients and intricate transactions. It is anticipated that almost all decisions would be made autonomously, with little to no direction, and with a high degree of accuracy.

To achieve their objectives, the investigators will need to communicate verbally and in writing with department management, risk analysts, risk engineers, other business partners, and outside stakeholders on a regular basis. They could also have to make phone calls to clients. Along with the total contribution to the department’s growth, productivity and quality control will be assessed.

Key job responsibilities

Investigates and assesses seller transaction facts; responds appropriately to transactions under investigation using established standard operating procedures and tools.

• Provides thorough comments to document their actions.
• During the course of the investigation, communicates via phone or email with external clients.
• During and after the investigative process, communicates with peers and internal customers in person, via phone, email, and annotations.
• Recognize the problem and utilize the resources at your disposal to find a solution.
• Using procedures and standards, systematically report issues or discrepancies in the information to the appropriate owners or teams.
• Interact with stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
• Gain an understanding of performance indicators to develop analysis that advances corporate objectives.
• Achieve pre-established and assigned quality standards and productivity goals.

Basic Qualification

• Work Experience: 0–1 years • Education Requirement: Graduate in any field
• Communication Proficiency: Outstanding written and oral English communication abilities
• Capacity to manage and analyze massive data sets
• Proven capacity to collaborate with others in a highly dynamic setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven capacity to work effectively and independently;

• Global perspective and a firm grasp of business objectives;
